Roy Welland

Roy Welland served in the Royal Berkshire Regiment of the Army. He fought at the battle of Kohima in 1944. Being exceptionally proud of his service he ensured he attended the memorial ceremony at York Minster every year in respect of those lost during that battle He was honoured to have served Our Country for King & Queen, although he struggled he was very humble and in his later years finally found peace. Thank you, Great Uncle Jim.
